Thanks but the xc is too similar to the creed. I did shoot bits of a comp with the 6.5 and it performed admirably, other than the fact some tosser sold me a load of knackered brass which stuffed things up somewhat. I’d happily shoot more with the 6.5 but fancy a new toy and a 6

Grrr plenty of brass kicking around in the USA along with reamers but seems like it’s still illegal to export without a license.

So the 6cm wasn’t enough reduction in recoil or powder use compared to the 6.5 I already have. That’s great at sending 147s to 1250 just lovely. Not really chasing the golden goose just fancy something in 6mm and seeing as most (outside the 6cm) will be a custom order, I may as well get the best. My understanding is the GT is a fair bit less of a barrel burner than some of the others but as I said and you reiterated, brass might be a pain. but this is why I am here, to get peoples thoughts 👍

I’ve edited my faux pas 🤣 I am definitely not in the high skill level, but if I’m going to get something built then I might as well get make the most of it and get the right thing. 6mm creed was not it, poor decision due to lack of due diligence, hence why I am here dasher is second on the list, seems like GT just pips it in most respects especially regarding feeding reliability, if the yank forums are to be believed.

Fancy something new for steels and also possibly PRS next year. Had a brief flirt with the 6 creed but over all didn’t give me enough “less” than the 6.5 Looking at other sixes and the GT seems good mix of speed / recoil / mag feed reliability albeit the new kid on the block, looks like brass is a pain to find but hopefully with improve with hornady making factory ammo. looks like it was built for Varget so bit stuffed there, might work with N140 or maybe Tac (which I have a load of) Anyone shooting them? Anyone making them?

Yeah they’re designed to run centre x and Midas which is why the SK also runs well in them, sticking with it for now while it’s hot at least and will do the what ammo dance again in the autumn 🤣 @Charlts that’s the end game, however when previously enquiring about SK lots “no chance” due to the lack of availability at the moment

Looking back at the threads it was R50 so maybe one to try once I’ve burned through this batch of LRM. Looking forward to taking the rifle back to zero one with a tune on it though, took me around 8shots to break the clay at 280y last time, go for a first round hit this time 🤣🤣🤣 my main take away is as much as I love the data, it’s such a nice rifle to shoot in the ESS chassis, puts such a smile on my face each time I take it out and that’s the main thing

This was in rifleman’s at about 12c and was coming out of the Vudoo super 😞 maybe it was r100 but I’m sure it was 50… might be worth a try again then. long range match is good until it cools Had a play with the tuner again today, a bit more structured and it definitely makes a difference. Think I am getting close and the LRM was insanely consistent, far more so than I have seen before, but again it’s very borderline speed wise the stickers show the “final” groups after I’d tinkered with the tuner

Well that’s a given but we don’t really have the luxury of choice thanks to the lack of availability at the moment especially when I’m shooting 500-1000 a month with a 1200 holding 🙄 I was shooting rifle match which was great but the RFD hasn’t been able to get any for 8 months. I’d love to take the Vudoo to Germany and come back with 10,000 lot tested centreX 🤣 (Eley might be a possibility but they’re shorter than SK / Lapua and it doesn’t like em) I’d love to be able to shoot R50 which it loves but it’s supersonic and all my local ranges only allow for moderated subs So I’m stuck with tinkering with the tuner to see what I can do with SK LRM. Hopefully when I get chance to do it properly I’ll get a tune and then simply be able to fine tune it between lots

Not been out for ages with the Vudoo. Have switched back to SK LRM for availability but this means a retune. Didn’t go well today, too tired to be doing it and a breeze got up a bit. I need to go back to rifleman’s indoor really and take some proper time out to do it as even the little 3mph gusts mean 0.5” at 100. these are “assorted tuner setting” 10 round groups at 100y the two top left were no tuner. The final group is the top group top right which doesn’t have much vertical displacement (0.3”) These are some 5round groups at 50y to re-zero.

Right bought this brass on here (I think) about 4 years ago, drilled it out to 2mm flash holes and it then sat on the shelf for 4 years. Loaded it up to take to a PRL match and the ******** wouldn’t chamber in my savage 12LRP I’ve tried and failed to establish what is wrong with it, had it through a headspace gauge etc and all I can see is that they seem to have a ring above the extractor groove. On loading the bolt audibly and noticeably clicks over the extractor groove and it’s then very hard to extract the case. there are 98 of them So, offering these up on an honesty basis to someone who might be able to use them as I don’t have the time or patience to mess around with them and have bought another box from my RFD. the deal is £5 to have them posted to you and if you can then get them working, pay me for them, call it £85? If you can’t get them working then you bin them. Due to the nature of the sale it’s totally at my discretion but the minimum requirements are you’ve been a member on here for 5+ years and have 200+ posts

3d printed a single shot loader for 308 to check the bottom metal fit and seems fine to me, you can have the single shot loader for free 🤣

Vudoo tactical 40round wallets. these are good for the price, they are best for a .308/6.5 cartridge but will take 20 .300prc for example the outer loops on each row are pretty loose £48 posted for all three or £20 posted individually
