I've ran small primer Starline with 38.5gr of N150 through both my Creedmoors with no pressure signs.  When I switched to large primers I ran a a full ladder test working up from 33gr, I found 36gr gave the lowest SD and it produces at least .30" centre to centre groups out of both rifles at 100yds.

I'll see if I can get a chrono on the 41gr N160 loads and see what they read.

Yes, 6.5 Creedmoor, the N150 is just over the Viht max load for the 139 Scenar (35.5), I'm using Starline large primer cases.

I suspect I wasn't pushing them fast enough, my 140 Nosler and 139 Scenar loads are about 2630fps with 36gr of N150

The max Viht N160 load is around 42gr so I'll try a few around that.

No, these are S&B, their factory 6.5 Creedmoor ammo performs pretty well from most reviews I've seen of it.

The PPU 140 "Match" HPBT I tried were hopeless in both the 6.5C Ruger RPR and Tikka 260 that I had at the time, couldn't get a decent grouping at all.

I've tried the S&B's in both my current Creedmoor's (Tikka Tac A1 and Bergara BMP) with almost identical results.

I'm loading up 50 rounds of the 41gr load and will try them next visit to the pipe range, would have tried them next week but our Otterburn shoot has been cancelled.

I've been trying these out and having problems getting consistent grouping.  3 or 4 within 1" with the odd flyers sometimes up to 1" further out.

I've been ladder testing using 5 different weights of N150 and N160 and only found one load where they would group, 41gr of N160, this gave .34" centre to centre. 

I usually use Nosler 140gr Custom Competition or Lapua 139gr Scenars, both of these give excellent grouping at several nodes and are very consistent with no flyers.

Adjusting by 0.5gr either way the group opened up to over 1" with the odd flyer again.

I shot 2x 5 shot strings at 41gr, the second grouped to just under .39"

Factory S&B use a Coal of 2.75" and push them to 2650fps, unfortunately the chrono at the pipe range I use for testing was shot out a while ago.

So, has anyone found anything similar with these bullets?

We now have a twin 100yd pipe range available in a 30min drive, it's not great but it has solid benches and does the job for load testing  

I haven't tried pushing the Nosler 140's that fast as I stocked up on the 139 Scenars befrore Brexit ruined my cheap supplies from Europe.

My prone shooting days are well and truly over (disabilities etc.), outdoors I use an MTM Hi-Low Shooting Table and portable stool but even then I can't get better than 1MOA group on a good day.

The Bergara BMP is just as accurate, I can't tell the actual group size as some idiot shot out the electronics in the range!, it's certainly around .5MOA.

I took my son's cheap Sabatti 308 (Urban Sniper) up the other week to do some load development, first 5 rounds (39.5gr N140 and Nosler CC 168gr) were all touching each other well inside the 1" square, I didn't bother doing any further loads!.

Between 2450 and 2654 using Starline LRP brass and Murom KVB7 primers.

Best 5 shot group in my Tikka Tac A1 (24" barrel) was using 36gr, .285" between centres with an ES of 37fps.

Now sold pending the usual.

Using Scenar 139gr loaded to 2.717"with either LRP or SRP Starline brass 34 to 36gr loads of N150 all give touching holes at 100yds in both my 6.5 Creedmoor's.

Still no reply from RCBS after 6 weeks, sent 2 follow up emails and only got the automated reply.

I have a 5-05 and an M500

No comparison, currently in discussion with RCBS who have agreed to replace the M500 as it weighs incorrectly by over 3gr using a 155gr test bullet.

The 5-0-5 and my good digital scale both read it as dead on 155gr.  It's also off using other test weights.

RCBS have offered to replace it if I pay about £30 to send it back to the USA, they then said they may be able to find a European distributor to replace it.

That was 3 weeks ago, not heard anything since, replies to emails take 2-4 weeks to arrive.

Had one of these, they are an excellent bipod.

Picked up a case of these tonight, on first look they are identical to the Murom KVB7's, same dark pink primer compound.  I'll take some measurements tomorrow.

Made in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

From what I got on another forum the pistol versions are made in Bosnia and the rifle types in another country, the LRP are a very tight fit, here's the info,

"Using two different micrometers, the cup diameter measures .2114”, and .120” cup height"

Also mentioned that they were very similar to the Ginex primers Bold Action used to bring to Bisley in bulk.

My current Murom KVB7 (which are a solid fit!) measure 0.2115" by 0.125" and never had a problem with those.

I was looking for some Murom KVB7's and was suggested I try the new Henry Krank "own brand" LRP's

No idea who actually makes them, I assume Prvi have someone make them for them?

I know in the past Lee have recommended not to use Federal in their hand priming tools or to only single feed them.

Anyone know who actually makes these primers or why they shouldn't be used with a hand primer?

I've used my RCBS Universal hand primer with all different makes and sizes of primers and never found a warning or problem.

Best hand primers are RCBS Universal, Sinclair and K&M, all are expensive for a reason, cry once, buy once!

If you're having problems with grip or strength then look at a bench mounted priming tool, again most of the big reloading companies make them, all are pretty decent, the Lee is cheap for a reason but it does work, can't say the "new" folding primer trays are in any way an improvement over the older round ones.

And I'm not knocking Lee, quite a lot of their stuff is perfectly good, I have several sets of their dies and 3 of their presses!.

Using GM3 in my 44's, bought a few Kg of it a few years ago.

Just picked up a load of Maxam CSB5, supposed to be very good for both 357/38 and 44/44mag.

I've made some test loads up, just waiting for my indoor club to re-open in April 😛

At £29/500g it's also a lot cheaper than Blue/Red Dot, Unique etc.

Their max load for N150 with the 143 ELD-X is only 34.3gr, 2503fps

I run both of my 6.5C's using 139gr Scenars with either 36gr of N150 for LRP cases or 41gr of N160 for SRP cases.

If you can find it GM3 works nicely and was (when I bought 10Kg of it) about £30/Kg

Despite what it says on some internet sites TiteGroup isn't a ball powder, it's a flake.

I've had accurate loads in the 44's using 4.8gr for the 200gr and 7.1gr for the 240gr bullets.  Both running around 850fps for 25m indoor ranges.

Be very careful not to double charge, it's a very small amount of powder.

Bad news is the .30 155 Scenar are no longer made.

I spoke to Erkki Seikkula at Nammo regarding this, he suggested switching to Scenar L but was very surprised at the 25-30% price difference here.

With many suppliers in Europe no longer willing to ship to the UK it looks like shooting will be a lot more expensive.
