  1. Try Fox Firearms UK, based at Diggle range (Fox Firearms UK).

Look at their 8x32x56 scope. I purchased one of these while waiting for my S&B to arrive a few years ago. Used the Fox's scope to shoot out to 900yards and someone at the club uses the same scope to shoot out to 1000 yards. In my opinion for the price (paid £125 for mine but that was a while ago). I keep mine as a spare.

This is an article by Vince Bottomley using the Fox's scope when mounted on my AI as a comparison against two more expensive scopes.

  2. I had an AUG .223 (paid about £1000 or just under for the standard rifle circa 2013/2014). Low Mill Ranges (http://lowmillranges.co.uk/) did all the needed upgrades (Trigger Tamer, extended charging handle, barrel release button, etc.). I part exchanged it for a Remington 700 .223 in an MDT chassis. I received about £900 for the rifle including all the upgrades, moderator, magazines, etc, as a part exchange.

I'm not quite sure what you're showing us?? How does the top target picture relate to the image below ?

The first target was just showing the three shot group after I had worked the load up. I was lucky to get a still day, the top group was shot at 100 yards off a bipod..

I have a 1970's one of those, also have a 1970's CWC with the same case design (one is 1974 and the other 1977, would need to check which is which). Hamilton are underrated in my opinion.

Pictures of my military watches (1942 Omega and 1970s CWC). I do need to get the Hamilton repaired.
