  2. perhaps try the WANTED SECTION !! <see the top post in this section >
  3. good morning edchef, if you pm a whatts app enabled phone number and i will send some photos.
  4. not sure what you mean beaver tail but its the same as the one on the varmint and super varmint stocks only its grey not black. hope that helps <it fits over the standard factory fiber glass stock>
  5. more than likely,if you lived in the thames valley/devon and cornwell areas YES maybe your area is more understanding but i DOUBT IT!
  6. then dont ! use a moderator if you have one but be aware of shooters either side of you using muzzle brakes. sound enters your ear canal through the bone just behind your ear and you will pick up muzzle blast shock wave through your head <concussion> that the main reason bisley have started charging extra for muzzle brakes and insisting if one is used you have to have at least one shooting lane separation.
  7. just keep asking newbies to tell you how many useful posts they have and you will find none but you will have got your post count up,which will be a shame.i think the rules say MEANINGFUL POSTS.
  8. factory brass ,brass that has been reloaded can have a long history and may not last very long before it splits or the primer pocket becomes lose .IF ITS factory brass that has been fired only once then its of use. just be aware that SOME sellers advertise brass as once fired and it is NOT. if you have the original box and insert its more likely once fired
  9. center fires YES no problem. rimfires NO big problem !
  10. go for at least a 1 in 9 twist rifle ,these will shoot 40gr up to 75gr flat base bullets so you can find a bullet the rifle likes. czare good rifles as are tikka etc but dont buy something with a nice wooden stock because you will mark/damage it .if you can find synthetic thats your best choice. all ammo has become expensive but reloading is a bit cheaper. i was luck and bought some hornady tap rounds 64gr for £14 per 20 but thats was a rare find. winchester are normally a good buy BUT your rifle may not like them !
  11. hornady have ,in my 6.5x55 always varied and seem to be soft brass as the stretch on every firing and on most third firings split the neck even when the case had been annealed. ppu and lapua are much better cases .
  12. good point i will double check with the nra ,i did speak to them last thursday and was told i would be allowed to shoot as long as the lane was booked by an nra member and i had the ssc <i would be the members guest> but i will get the answer in writing to be safe.
  13. good evening ,are the cases as fired, factory primers still in ,in the factory holders and boxes ?
  14. good morning, i have a ssc but can not book the 100 yard range at bisley <i shoot with my club twice a month> but would like to zero my rifle at the 100 yard range, does any one book a morning/afternoon or all day and would be happy to share the target and cost of the range with a fellow shooter ? .i live on the oxon/berks border but can get to a from bisley ok. thank you for reading ,please only reply via direct message .
  15. do you venture up to bisley at all ? interested in the 69gr smk and the primers.
