How wide is the barrel channel?

All the other places that sell garmin wouldn’t ship internationally when I enquired when it was out of stock at Area 419.

The new AT-XC and AT-X Mil have been announced with updates actions. Including lighter bolt lift and changeable bolt heads. Sounds interesting.

Until they do a one off limited run like the AW's and AWM's, then another, then another .........
🤣
considering the action is the same for all the current short action rifles I can see limited runs of the AT.

A recent picture of a bullet with cut nose ring was a lot deeper than that video.
it got me intrigued, keep us updated John.

I’ve got a spuhr that would fit this scope that will be for sale as I’ve had to move to a higher mount.

@ronin is right in his reply.
The work involved is pretty much the same as chambering a fresh barrel and it would require a re-proof.
Ronin did a straight 22-250 on a T3 for me a few years ago. It shoots 53gr in tiny groups.
shoot out the current barrel and then get AI on a fresh barrel.
I went with a lothar walther pre-Brexit. Prices have increased but not extortionate. Around £400.

I've used the Lab Radar, Bullet Seeker and the Garmin, from my experience there all great, all work really well.
If you're buying a Chronograph and don't have one, I would get a Garmin. Used it while shooting at Chobham ridges last weekend it captured 98/98 shots fired. Brilliant piece of kit.
Where did you buy the Garmin?

John, from everything I have read (probably the same source as you ) accuracy wise there won’t be anything in it, but the Garmin will just be so much easier to use.
and yes I have my name down for one.
And now there’s a new and supposedly better induction annealer coming on to the market…
Tell us more about this annealer

Looking forward to your review John

Simon is starting it this Wednesday Dave , Had to take the 250 magnum primers to him ( rocking horse sh-te) so fingers crossed couple of week , I will post data when all finished😁 I have no doubt it will put a smile on my face when I pull the trigger, and Simom is so precise in what he does , and how professional he is .I'm in good hands👍
Glad I could be of assistance pal. I’m looking forward to the results.
when is comes to precision reloading I passed up on a supertrickler this week. Already regretting it but timing just wasn’t right.
I don’t blame you saving time by using Simon. More time to get out and shoot

How have you got on with the load development?
-
Leupold rings please pm sent

That is very nice. I’ve just bought the 7mm SAUM that used to belong to Terry and has been through a few hands. I’ve always wanted a KMW stocked rifle and it was the perfect opportunity. I’ll see how the finish is before making a decision.
-
Photos of the new finish please!
also who did the work?
-
I am pretty sure I have seen the AI AT-X chassis is available in Tikka T3 inlet.
sorry not seen the spuhr in the flesh but it does look good from the photos online.

@Scotch_eggWhilst the tubular forend is close to the barrel, the handgrip section of the AX and AXMC (where the balance point typically is) makes a significant height over bore. This equates to several inches when shooting off a bag.
I must say I’m not the biggest fan of the aesthetics of the vision and prefer the looks of Samb Ao chassis but that’s my own taste…
The balance point is definitely better I agree but the bipod location is worse off. Depends on what’s important.
I think you will find that vision actually are the Samb Forend producer for Europe. So that’s a Samb forend.

Yeah I get that. But if you already have an AW/AT/AX and want to upgrade it then it works out probably about the same with less hassle than having to sell and buy an AT-X.. the Vision looks better aswell and who cares if you hit anything as long as you look good doing it 😆
Don’t know about “upgrade” a change certainly.
The forend is as long way off the barrel compared to an AX tubular forend.
If you already own an AT or AX I can see why it’s an option.
