I have 3 full tubs and 1 part tub (234g/8.3oz) of H4350 for sale at £175 for the lot.

This powder is as rare as hens teeth these days and is perfect for 6.5 Creedmoor, 260 Rem, 6.5x47, 243 and WSM cartridges.

This is a 6.5 Creedmoor rifle custom built for me by Dave Wylde as follows:

AICS non-folding stock, Ceracote painted in MoD dark green.

Stiller Spectre repeater action with a 20 MOA Picatinny rail.

Timney Calvin Elite competition single-stage trigger.

28” fluted 1:8T Sassen barrel, chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor, screw threaded for an AI muzzle brake or moderator, and fitted with a blind cap. 

AI magazine.

Both the barrel, blind cap, action and Picatinny rail are finished with Ceracote black.

The bipod is NOT included.

It’s shot about 300 rounds and is in as-new condition, so I’m asking a reduced price of £2000 for it.

I will sell the Sightron Slll 8-32x56 LRTD/TDT 1/4 MOA turrets with the full kit and Recknagle 30mm detachable scope rings for an extra £640.

Included in the price are the Redding dies, 100 new Hornady cases and 100 x3 fired cases.

If you can get them, a good alternatives are Magtech and  Fiocchi. I seem to recall that Laurie rated the former very highly in his SR primer review a few years ago.

Due to yet another time waster I’m re-advertising this rifle and reducing the price to £3200.  This is 50% of the price of a new one, so an absolute bargain.

A superb analysis as usual Laurie.

A fellow F TR shooter and ex Team GB shooter had a great deal of success with this bullet through his 1:11 32” barrel. Even out to 1000 yards it grouped exceedingly well.

 I wasn’t able to achieve the same performance, but it was enough for me to try that bullet in my AW. Up to 600 yards the results were very satisfactory

I have no doubt the 26” barrel wouldn’t have the legs to compete at distances beyond 800 yards. 

I’ve only now discovered this query. I suggest trying the Lapua 175 Scenar L.

They are available and pushed with Viht N150 are superbly accurate.

I have 600 once fired .308 Winchester Lapua cases (large primer) for sale.

They have been de-primed, Aztec annealed and LEM cleaned.

£50 per 100 in Lapua boxes (400) and £45 per 100 loose.

They can be collected at Bisley or posted at buyer’s cost.

Indeed. Unfortunately it take just one person to take it jet that little bit too far, which results in an incident, that will then make it very difficult for the rest of us.
