Yeah I’ve been using one with reasonable success out to 300 but my eyes don’t allow any further, 45long Colt is really just a 50 yard thing, but we’ve never have any close range shooting so it moved it on,

Cool im just on the cusp of renewal, doctors paperwork is in but haven’t done the on line as yet, i recently sold my Winchester in 45 Long Colt , and intend to replace it with a 45-70 , purely as they have much longer legs!!

I’ve never done any proper accuracy testing as I’ve nowhere to do it, One really needs some good private ground for that sort of thing, Tons of testing on You tube, Accuracy Speaks is worth a look, The CZ is on a Par with the custom stuff in the hands of normal shooters, id like the Rim X on here hence offering it for sale, but selling seems to be almost impossible unless it’s ridiculously cheap!! ces’t la vie

I’m keeping it as I’m renewing next month, they are a seriously good bit of kit, and at 200-300 fun to shoot and cheap! still get your vari and PM next year if and when you get your ticket back

Brings back memories when we used to do stuff like that! we had two ranges side by side , one set for a full 1500 match and the other a multi stage Practical Pistol corse, seems a life time ago now but a few of us still rifle shoot together and surprisingly the old days always come up in conversation, great days , still miss it 🤦‍♀️

Yes maybe but these things are difficult to sell , one reason already mentioned! but happy to keep it and the Arctic and brave a renewal ! Being lazy I guess but as I only range it’s all getting to much of a drama
