Grouse
Can remember reading somewhere about the reason for choosing steel over other metals, can anybody suggest the reasoning about this? Or what I should go with, the rail is a Lawton so guessing steel? Wheres the best place or who holds some quality rings in the UK? Cheers
Alycidon
Just put a pair of steel Badger Max 50s on the same rail, work very well, but they are very heavy, 11oz a set. They do also do an alloy set which are half that weight. http://www.badgerordnance.com/productgroup.php?id=rings http://www.midwayuk.com/apps/eproductpage....leItemID=393863 A

TC
I have Mk4's and TPS but also have found Burris Xtreme to be excellent quality but they are quite "chunky" with triple screw clamps. http://www.burrisoptics.com/xtrrings.html If the look works for your application they can be had for around £40. Grouse
Liking the specs and price on the TPS, cannot find were to get them in the UK? Or will I have to buy from US and get them imported? No doubt get clobbered with import tax too? Nothing in the UK? Will try RG tomorrow. Any suggestions on where to buy from? Cheers
Alycidon
Looks like you can buy direct. You will need to add about £20 carraige, VAT and a £9 or so customs handling charge. Very occasionally the VAT and customs charges get missed but dont bank on it. Of course any returns or warrenty issues would be tricky!. A
