Rs52 with 6.5x47

Any body using the above powder with 6.5x47 and 123grn Bullets , Im currently using Varget  ?

I went with n150 with 123g amax. (I know the amax have gone aswell now but I have a good stock)

Seated 20thou from the lands with 38.6g of powder giving me 2988 fps es of 7fps 

Shooting 1/4moa at 100 yards and opening up to 1/2 moa at 250yards

I might also try n140. 

I can't get a good supply of rs powders around me hence going with the VihtaVuori.

What length barrel?

when mentioning velocity along with powder weights you really need to include barrel length.

Yes, it works well in the 6.5x47. RS50 is even better.

Mine 22" too Ive been running it on the same recipe as previous owner BR4 ,38grn Varget  123grn amax  2.6395 to the tip . shoots very well had vermin out to 630yds (3/4 grown wabbit). But running low on varget and i can get RS quite easy.

Thank you for that. I’m about to collect a 24” barrelled Sako TRG. It’s good to know that N150 is working well in the shorter barrels. I have seen a lot of 26” plus recently.
