Strangely Brown
I'm currently looking at buying a S&B 3~20x50 (not the ultra short one) and have looked at one with a P3L reticule, which I was told was very similiar to a P4L fine. Not having both reticules side by side, my memory of the P4L fine was one of a much finer reticule? In fact I was surprised how thick the P3L reticule was. Is there anybody on here with experience of both, I'm pretty certain my mind is made up on a P4L fine but wanted some assurance?
duff eyed doyle
Hi Mick I have used both personally i would go with the P4l fine as i found the P3 to be a little too chunky for my liking.
Strangely Brown
Thanks Stuart! I think you probably knew it was mainly for McQueens, my assumption is that you did better than me yesterday.
duff eyed doyle
I had one of my better days yesterday. Another option reticle wise but only available on the 12-50 PMII is the sport reticle i find it ideal as the aiming dot sits nicely in the V ring of the mcqueen target. If you would like to a look at either the P4 fine or the sport reticle drop me a pm.
ds1
Having had both I would second P4 fine. The p3 is too thick.
