It really is down to personal choice really with aesthetics playing a large part in the selection.

 

 

A-Tec, ASE, BR Toute, SYSS, Third Eye Tactical, MAE and Jager Sporting Arms all make over barrel (Reflex Style) moderators, some made from stainless, some alloy with stainless baffles, some strippable, some not.

 

If I were you, I would research what models are available, what weight they are and more imprtantly what sound attenuation they give (I think -32db is the benchmark)

 

 

All offer products within your price range.

 

 

What I would like to see is a truly independant test of all products available giving sound attenuation figures..........

I would add, depending what you want to use the mod for your choice

can vary.

There is a big price difference between some brands.

There is a huge difference in weight and size. Weight can vary from 1kg to 200 grams.

There is a slight difference in noise reduction.

 

For a hunting rifle A-tec modular and Roedale Delta are hard to beat.

They are small, light and effective.
