LONG RANGE CAPT

Recommended Posts

I've shot some from my 243, the old Barnes "O" bullets. They seemed to shoot well (1/2 MOA), but you have to watch the length/twist of the bullet/rifle. Since they're typically made from free machining brass of some sort, they tend to run unusally long for their weight.

I'm sure you're already aware of this, but thought I'd point it out to other readers...

Ive shot some of the 338's with the owner of UK Gunrooms test rifle - a modified Rem 700.

They shot ok.

I asked for availability and samples to run tests with my own rifle - theirs was a 10 twist, mine is a 9, and was promised some - that was twelve months ago.

Hopefully, production is now in full swing.
