can anybody tell me if this is a p4 fine rectical? I bought it new and it says p4 fine on certification with the correct serial number, but after looking through the accompanying leaflet, I'm not sure if it is. If anyone has a recticle like this I would appreciate your feedback.

I have a a P4 fine, yours looks to me like the standard P4. This is how mine looks.

neil the pic was took from 6 meter down the garden at the shed would this make any difference

 

 

Where abouts in derby are you, you could come and have a look at mine if you like. Sounds a bit wrong but you know what I mean. I'm in Smalley.

I have two FFP gen 2 4-16 PM11's, one with the Klein ret (which the P4f was based on) the other has P4f,

 

 

The ret in the post, is not a P4f

 

 

Looks like a modified P4 - with "hollowed" posts

I think the key here is FFP vs SFP.

 

The ret pictured looks to be the SFP P4 (couldn't say whether it's fine or standard from the pic).

 

For some reason, I believe they hollow out on the SFP (perhaps so you can ID which is which if you mix the scopes up).

 

Top half of the page is FFP, bottom half SFP:

The ret pictured is SFP P4, I went last night and look at a p4fine in ffp and it is a lot finer i have bought the scope new but have had in cuboard for last 3 mounth i would like to now how they can get this wrong i have email s+b
