I am a new member, though I've been a shooter for 40 years, and held an FAC almost continuously since 1972. I currently shoot just informal target practice for my own amusement, though I dream of finding some local permissions with a rook/rat/rabbit/muntjac problem... I own and shoot: 1. A Remington 700 SPS Varmint in .308 with a Schmidt & Bender PMII 3 - 12 X 50 and a Reflex T8 mod 2. A Sako Finnfire Varmint in .22LR, mounting a Leupold VX III in 4.5 - 14 x 50 and a SAK mod 3.
