A friend brought one of these in yesterday, and to say i was impressed would be an understatement. My order is going in tomorrow, as they have some in stock. Its the tactical tripod you are looking at. This stand is now std issue to the US military snipers/spotters. My mate brought his in for a coat of OD green duracoat, and it looks the ###### now. The head is a ball joint, and rotates in all directions, securing up with a twist of the cap. I think however the Ewing tacical is better.....the adjustable leg makes it more usable over less than level ground. I have one of those too. Neither is a bad choice. David.
