6mmBR
They say a picture paints a 1000 words, but it is much better if you add a bit of a story with your pictures. Cheers Dave

SteveW
Great pictures Rob, and lovely to see foxes in such good condition, well slightly the worse for wear since you and your buddy caught up with them Steve
20ppc
380 yards at night is an extremely long way, not only in terms of the actual, range estimation wind and all the other factors that come into shooting at a living creature the size of a fox but also the equally important aspect of target identification. In view of this and your recent post on long range deer shooting, please delete the reference to the shooting of the fox at 380yards or I will delete the whole post. Many thanks, Nick
Alycidon
Just moderate that bit, be a shame to loose the whole post/thread. 100% agree with comments on id, no way for sure at that range unless with a 240 lamp with no coloured lens cover or you have ided it closer and seen it run away, then you still have the issue of where the chest is.. Wonder what the kill to cart ratio is but with that exception it does look like a good set up. What nice condition those foxes are in, no mange either, must be a real good food supply there.
