Guest Sprags Posted September 23, 2009 Report Share Posted September 23, 2009 A lad who works with us has always been, well not a true 'anti' but he believed there wasn't a reason to kill any animals be it by shooting or any other method. I sat and chatted to him a while back hinting that he may not be as well informed of the reasons behind the need to control certain animal numbers. He pondered my reasons for a bit and told me I was wrong! Anyway to cut a long story very short I offered to take him out and show him what we did and explain the reasons behind it. This went on for few weeks, he took a few shots with the rimmie's and loved it!! The result is he has now spent just over £2000 getting all his hunting/shooting kit together, which includes two very nice pre charged air rifles, and obtained shooting permission on a fishery controlling the vermin. He his close to getting some more permission and when he does he says he will be putting in for his FAC as long as I can help him with any advice he needs! Is this a result or not?
