Guest Kenneth
According to the figures on the site main page there are 850+ registered members. Why then do we have individual membership numbers in the 8-9 thousand range? Just one of those strange confusing questions that you just have to ask. I guess. 6ppc
Im not Admin (used to be) and the main reason is that you get loads of daily registrations from spam companies that are never allowed to become members(due to the good work of admin) but have been given a reg number at time of registering.Being a member im sure you will be aware that admin are required to validate all new members instead of being granted automatic meberships this is to protect the genuine members from the companies already mentioned above trying to spam members and send you a virus etc. Hope this answers your question. Wsm
Kenneth Plus the fact this number still includes all the members that have been removed for reasons such as trolling/trouble making Would you believe that one character has been removed dozens of times by this site alone times under various identities. Fortunately he becomes very easy to spot

1967spud
The verb "troll" originates from Old French "troller", a hunting term. The noun "troll", however, is an unrelated Old Norse word for a giant or demon

Fortunately he becomes very easy to spot I'm amazed at their persistence. What constitutes Trolling and trouble making is very much a subjective view point. Rudeness , belligerence, and plain ignorance how ever are entirely different matters. Glad to see you tolerate none of the above. It makes for a far more pleasant experience.
