How does this work?

Hi folks,

The picture shows a Lyman case prep centre with a LEE Precision hand operated case trimmer screwed into one of the rotating points.

Would I be right in thinking someone has worked the Lee hand trimmer down in diameter on a lathe. Then cut the threads to fit the Lyman thread pattern enabling it to screw into one of the rotating positions on the Lyman case prep?

I presume it can't be bought, as I've looked. Feel free to make me look a prat and find one for sale.

And lastly, If it has to be made from the Lee trimmer, can anyone out there help me, by turning my trimmer down and threading it on your lathe.

If someone can help, then I would obviously pay for work.

I have the same

 

You put the case in the case holder, then lower it by hand onto the trimmer until it stops trimming. 

Same as normal but it used the prep station instead of a cordless drill etc etc

When I get mine out of storage I will have a look. I seem to recall I bought the bottom part online, already prepared for the prep station.
