Chris-NZ Posted May 4, 2009 Report Share Posted May 4, 2009 "B52's" we call them- big, black and deceptively fast. Need more lead to hit them then you'd expect. I resisted shooting them yesterday even though quite a few came over- did some swan saussies a few years back but they're too bl**dy strong a taste for this boy.. Hope your Opening Morning went better than ours TP. We got only about 10 despite seeing heaps last Sun while putting out the decoys and getting the maimais ready. The breasts out of parries make good salamis once the pellets are removed. For some weird reason, the game butcher doesn't enjoy feeding steel shot through his mincer..
