Sako Trg v’s Tikka T3 Trigger

Hi all, anyone know if a Tikka T3 Trigger will drop into a Trg22??..Not a huge fan of safety position for taking into the field. Thanks, Mac

The only issue I foresee is is having to create the opening in the chassis for the position change. I have never had an issue with the position of the TRG safety catch. I’ve ran one on a TRG and on a Tikka T3 for several years now. No longer have the actual TRG moved it on for an AX.

Cheers @Scotch_egg, I prefer the safety up top on a hunting rig, big hands and gloves are not a great mix for a trigger guard position

though there is obvious issues with the mag release of the TRG22 and lack of it on the T3

 

The TRG 22/42 trigger has always been considered “weak” in terms of hard use environments
