kaduflyer Posted August 2, 2020 Report Share Posted August 2, 2020 Just been doing some load development in my 17 fireball so when using 20 gr bullets over magnetospeed all well giving 3750fps readings then when I changed using same powder and weight only using 17 gr bullets the readings went all lower round about 2000 fps any ideas ? Catch-22 Posted August 3, 2020 Report Share Posted August 3, 2020 As stated previously, you might need to up the sensitivity. Perhaps a lighter bullet (a .17cal 17gn bullet is small) may be harder to pickup? Alternatively, check the positioning of the bayonet to muzzle. Or change the battery if it’s been in there a while.
