maxtich Posted March 16, 2020 Report Share Posted March 16, 2020 I’ve waited a few days to get a satisfactory reply from Thomas Jacks and since none came,I’m compelled to express my absolute disgust of Thomas Jacks Zero customer service.In the last few years Ive bought 2 of their top of the range Thermals a Trail Xp50 and then the latest Trail Lrf XP50.These units around £4-5 k each and both times have had issues with the carry case straps/ buckles breaking away,in just normal use age.After contacting Jacks and sending pics,their agent accused me of causing the damage and further more said they had Never had an issue,going further that according to their records I’ve done this before and they are Not replacing it unless i pay £45!Just to add that both straps broke within a couple of months of purchase!Can any other members let me know if they’ve had similar issues,as bought both new.Thanks Tich. Popsbengo Posted March 17, 2020 Report Share Posted March 17, 2020 Try writing to the manufacturer outlining your concerns about their product and the customer service from TJ. You may find the manuf. has more warranty knowledge and recognises the issue. If that doesn't work you could try Trading Standards and then possibly the small claims court, quite easy to do and the threat of court action may spur TJ into action.
