Hi All

Had this scope lying around for years gathering dust. Was given it by a mate I served with whom had a brother in the RUC, rightly or wrongly he said it had came off a mini 14 !!. Just wondering if anyone had any information on them.
cheers

Look like Mini-14 rings

I either still have, or had until recently one of these scopes.
Mine came from a .22 rimfire

Standard commercial scope circa mid-late 1980s
Did you take the turret cap off for the photos or is it missing?

Hi

Cheers for the info, very much appreciated. Guess the story of it coming off a mini 14 has some credence then. Cap is present but I took it off for the pic to assist with the ID process. Next question i guess is does anyone have any use for it and does it have any value 🤷‍♂️
Cheers

They are a decent mid-low budget range scope, perfect for a rimfire or airgun
Value around £30-£40 probably

You'll likely get a decent amount for the Ruger rings as they are proprietary to the Ruger receivers, so should (from memory) also fit the M77 bolt action series as well as Mini-14 models

If you had better provenance about an RUC connection then the value of the set would change accordingly

Hi Cheers again.
Thanks for the information. I’ll stick it up for sale at a not too unreasonable price and hopefully someone can make use of it.
Thanks
