UIT Rail

I am hoping someone might be able to help.

My rifle has a UIT rail in the forend. I also have a tripod set up with a monkey clamp attached to the ball head using a DP 60R Quick detach plate.

I would like to attach the rifle to the ball head directly using the quick detach plate, without using the monkey clamp. Is there anything that I can use to attach the top of the quick release clamp to the forend UIT rail.

You could try staving an ARCA rail to the UIT Rail as I did on my T2k.

Could you post a picture of the arrangement on your T2K please.

All you need to source are some T-Slot Nuts and screws to lock the ARCA rail into the UIT channel.

Yes that would work but it’s a bit short, however, that depends on what you want to use it for. My ARCA rail came from Area 419, also available through Brownells UK.

Thanks John  It's just to mount it onto to a sunwayfoto ball head with a quick release clamp.

P.S. Love the stock on your rifle. Which one is it?
