Kipper
I have gotten a new scope for a build I'm in the middle off and looking at rings.. Problem is I'm a tight arse, and I cant see how a pair off £50 rings and a pair off £200 can really be all that different if mounted correctly? Looking for a education frankly, are they really worth the money
Xtrema
In theory more expensive rings should be made of better materials and therefor less prone to rusting. They would be manufactured to closer tolerances so should line up better and prevent the need for honing. Also more expensive brands will have a nice brand name etched into the surface 😊
Kipper
Sorry I never seen your reply, Surely a £60 is machined close enough to a £300 set lol..
Xtrema
All i can say is my Tier One Picatinny mono mount 34mm dia was over £250 a few years ago. They are about as good as it gets though.
Woodlander
Contact Rickosf on here, he has some Tier One ringsets at good prices. You can’t go wrong with them.
