Redshift
First off I don't come on here very often as I only shoot a few times a year now, my life has gone in other directions ( motorsport) any way, a few years ago I had built a new rifle Barnard S action L/H, Bartlien barrel 7.8-8 gain twist 6mm Dasher heavy taper barrel , Kelbly trigger and Dolphin open F class stock all L/H. The rifle action hasn't even been put in the stock yet, the only rounds it's fired were at the proof house. What sort of money do you guys think i should ask for it, if i decide to sell it. Cheers RS
Gungrinner
2/3 of the new price is always a good place to start on second hand riles and scopes. Reduce the price bit by bit until it sells.
One on top of two
For a kick off take off the VAT , anyone with any sense won’t charge VAT on a secondhand item, and only an idiot would pay it . so obviously if you have an item that cost you £1000 your going to take off the VAT ( £200 ) general rule of thumb is a further 15 % for being second hand so ........ a mint condition used item that costs £1000.new will have a sale value of £680.00 if it’s in less than mint condition adjust as necessary.
