I am still starting out with this one mate, but at the moment ive found 94.5g of H1000 is pretty good - well it certainly allows hits at 1400mtrs This gave me circa 2980fps I know it isnt 250g but,,I am also running 300 g SMK's with 89g of RL25 with decent results. Just over 2700fps These are not fully developed, but if youre running an XL (I guess you will be), then they should be ok. Both loads give 1/2moa Once I get the festivities out the way, I will be getting my head around the 338 a bit more - theyre addictive Oh, FWIW my reamer is Min SAAMI - throated for 250's (no nk turn) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I've shot 300+ of these rounds at a day at Lydd and they seem to hold around 1/2 MOA all the way to 1,300 ish (max target on the range). I've played with many other loads in US869 and H-1000, but they seemed more tempertaure dependant, with 12" of verticle at 1,000. Hope this helps.
