Bushytail
I was told the other day by a RFD that they are having a fair few shotguns come in for new firing pins, & all have been firing Eley Cartridges, they said it seems like the primers are too hard on them. Have any of you come across/heard this? My go to Cartridge is Eley, but if there is some truth in this I will have to be re-thinking my loads. philpot
I have been shooting Eley Superbs on clays for years with no issues at all but I don't use pigeon / game cartridges from Eley as they are a bit too pricey so I wonder if there is a difference with the primers used.
