ejg223
Once a bullet starts to travel down the barrel the rifle starts to recoil and travel in the opposite direction. Fact. The way it travels depends of the centre mass. Centre Mass on the line of the bore then the recoil will come straight back before the bullet leaves the barrel. If the Centre mass is outside of the line of bore then the rifle will rotate around the centre mass point and change launch angle. A heavy moderator will slightly reduce the change of the launch angle. Holding forend or not holding forend will make the heavy moderator version slightly more accurate. That is how I understand it. edi
