tulkyuk
Just remeber they are not going as fast as you think they are ( if that makes sense ) - because they are a small bird, they seem to be flying quite fast but really aren't. Cartridge wise, you will shoot ok with 7.5's and with a 1/4 or open chokes
Elwood
Hope it all goes well for you, yesterday was day number thirteen for me. As from Tuesday we will be shooting pheasants as well as partridge, so life should get easier for a month or so.

1967spud
well tbh we struggled, it was only a sort of partridge stir up day any way i wanted betwean 100-120, we ended up with 76 partridge 1 fox 9 embarrasing 0 1 rabbit (pinned by a picker upers dog0 and abut 15 pheasants the wind was so strong at times that we had to do 3 drives backwards when i fed this morning i was pleased to see a fair bit of suff milling around i need to get 250+ on the next day for my own satisfaction luckly we only shoot every fourtnight
