Breacher
Following on from a recent discussion which I cannot find now. https://www.sogknives.com/sync-ii.html Disguised as a buckle ? Or simply carried in a buckle ? Locking blade though :-(
MrCetrizine
From my barrister uncle who happens to be visiting me: "If it can be removed from the buckle and the buckle still functions as a buckle then it is carried within the buckle. However given that a buckle could not be described as an article that is typically and regularly used to carry other items then it would be concealed within the buckle and the concealment would make it disguised and thus prohibited. That's how I'd argue it if i was prosecuting"
FGYT
From the video I would say that is not a disguised knife it has a carrier plate that clips onto straps or can be used as a belt buckle the tool is clearly visible for what it is and is detachable from the plate which still functions without it
VarmLR
It seems little different, legally speaking, to carrying a small folding or lock blade with its own belt clip. It isn't obviously concealed, so not obviously disguised as clearly it is seen as a multitool carried within a buckle. My first thought though is "why?". It seems a daft idea, one of those things bought by those who like to buy all the gear, but have no idea.
