baldie
Finished these two last week. First is a Defiance Deviant in 6.5 x 47 lapua. This is fitted with a Sassen barrel, muzzle threaded 18mm x 1.5 and has an AI muzzle brake. Trigger is a Jewel and the stock is an AI AX in the new green colour. Metalwork in Ceracoat Milspec OD green. I've always believed that the Deviant was too tight for paint, but after careful measuring, I decided it wasn't. It paints beautifully. Second up, is a Borden Alpine action. This is fitted with a Krieger 1 in 8.5" blank, in 6.5 creedmoor. Muzzle thread is 18mm x 1 and invisible capped, with an 11 degree target crown. These actions, again, are tight, but can be painted. Trigger is a Calvin Elite. Brake is my 3 port model, timed to suit. Paint is Ceracoat.
