Sorry for the hijack but I wouldn't be so sure about that.

The rear of that hand guard has "wings" for want of a term, that extend back over the sides of the receiver.

If the rifle in question has a DPMS thick walled upper, they may clear (need to be sure though)

If it is one of the later SGC uppers, it will have a flange at the front of the upper to match their own new hand guards, and if this is the case then it won't fit

I already bought one H/G that didn't fit the SGC. Mine was built about a year ago. I thought all AR's would be the same ???.....so I'll pass, thanks anyway and good luck with the sale. J.
