A load using RS60 and the 140 A-Max is on Reload Swiss' official website. The charge varies from a minimum of 34.0 to a maximum of 39.0 grains.

Hodgdon doesn't list the 6.5x47L, but their 6.5 Creedmore loads with H4350 would be a good starting point (36-40 grains). Well with a few grains reduction of course to account for the differing case volumes, the 47 being less voluminous by about 5.5 grains (10% less), so 34-38 grains load level. Going by Berger's book, which a lot seems to have been developed using Quickload anyway, they list 34.5 and 38.3 grains for their 140 gr bullets with H4350.

Breaking the barrel in and trying a few test loads proved really good.tried viht max load with n540 behind 123gr amax.slight ejector mark.used them to get me on the target.

Tried 39grs of h4350 behind 140gr amax

Tried 39.6grs of h4350 behind 140 amax

39.8 " " " " " " " " " "" " "

40gr

No pressure signs.the 40gr load were doing 2800fps plus

Tried 39grs of RS60.that too shot well.they were doing around 2820fps. I knew the velocities would be around that.its quite impressive little cartridge. 12grs less powder than my 6.5 06 for the same ish fps.it wasn't my best day on the trigger but i think none of the groups were over half inch and had several cloverleaf/ragged hole type groups.barrel is pacnor at just over 27 inches

I shot this 5 shot group at 100 yards yesterday at a range day with my custom 6.5x47 from a bipod. I did try 140 Berger VLD Hunting and they shoot pretty well but this rifle absolutely loves 120g Nosler Ballistic tips, 39g Viht N540,CCI BR4 primer 20 thou off of the lands and it chrono's at 3060fps
