Lowsider
Ok. I have a Hera Arms Straight pull .223 on order and its arrival is imminent. My question is. Which scope should I mount on her? I will mainly be using on a 100 yard range but want the capability to stretch her legs out to greater distance. How far I do not know yet. I would like a scope from a reputable firm and decent glass. I have an S&B on my .308 but budget won't stretch that far. I have a Vortex on my .22lr HK which I am mighty impressed with for the price. This subject will probably start a heated discussion but what the hell...
Bangbangman
I am impressed with the Vortex Viper PST range. Great tracking, repeatability, good glass, great warranty. Your magnification choice is personal, of course.
MrCetrizine
I alternate between a Viper PST 1-4 and an EOTech XPS2 with 3x magnifier depending on my mood. Sometimes I mount my Leupold VX-R 3-9x40 if I feel like embarrassing myself at 600m with my .300 Blackout.
bradders
Seen far too many PST 1-4s fail to recommend them
Lowsider
I have a vortex 1-6 x 25 scope on my 22lr. May try this one and save for what I really want.
Major Disorder
We've sold plenty of Vortex Razor HD Gen II 1-6x24's to go atop an AR
Lowsider
We've sold plenty of Vortex Razor HD Gen II 1-6x24's to go atop an AR That's good to know. Will just have to see how I get on with it. I have the strike eagle bit cheap and cheerful but it is very impressive for the money. Will probably look to upgrade at a later stage and put an. Old UTG on my
