simgre
I have a Remington 700P LTR. (Light Tactical Rifle). 6.8mm Remington SPC. ( Not many of these about at all! An ex-Edgar Brothers employee reckons around three in the UK in this cal!!) This is a lightweight version of the big 700 Police which was designed for the more urban environment. It has a 20" wide fluted barrel and a slimmed down HS Precision stock. The stocks themselves have become very popular amongst Remy shooters. The only addition I have made to this rifle is a KRG bolt lift knob. Surprising how much difference this non-permanent upgrade makes. So the rifle is completely original. It has fired less than 400 rounds and as can be seen from the photos, is in excellent condition. Included in the package is a Leupold Mk4 3.5-10x40 LR/T illuminated mil-dot scope. This is fitted using Leupold turn in rings and bases. The scope has Leupold Butler Creek flip up covers as well. It's in really nice condition, with perfect glass and working illumination. There is some small rubbing in the edge of the turrets, but nothing to write home about. This is a "proper" tactical bolt rifle.... O:-) Package as described £1275. Rifle on its own £795. simgre
A wee bump for a great little rifle! Deer legal cartridge and just as much at home on the range with SMKs! Ammo available for face to face or cases otherwise. A little price drop to £1225 for the package or £750 for just the rifle, which effectively pays for an RFD transfer to your dealer.
