What would you do?

Hi folks.

I recently fire formed a box of 260 rem Lapua brass into 260 Ackley. I did it in 2 batches of 50 using the COW method.

The first batch turned out well & I would say they are probably 90 - 95% formed ( see the top row in the photo). The shoulders are not completely sharp yet but at least they are uniform.

The second batch, as you can see in the bottom row, did not form uniformly. I'm happy to proceed to full powered loads with the first batch but what would you recommend for the row below?

Fire form again with light loads? I'm obviously cautious about pressures with brass not completely filling the chamber. I don't plan on using the COW method again as its a stinking mess lol.

Thanks in advance.

If you can, seat the bullet long into the lands. This will hold the case head back against the bolt face and ensure you get a good form on next firing.
