6mmBR
Quick Load and Quick target are well worth investing in. They will give you all the information you need on reloading. Dave
Ronin
The best way to start reloading is have someone who knows what they are doing show you. Its easy to go wrong just follosing a book or DVD, more importantly, your "mentor" can point you in the right direction if you do go wrong. One piece of advice - buy the best you can and buy it once. Ballistic software - loads of free stuff around on the net, Sierra #5 Infinity is a good programme plus you get reloading data, Exbal from Perry Systems is arguably the best stand alone ballistic programme for field use. Quickload and Quicktarget are extremly good for silulating potential load / bullet combintions but if you are just starting out, I wouldnt recommend this just yet. There is enough to learn before the advanced stuff. Important point = be safe, methodical and do not allow yourself to be distracted whilst reloading. eldon
These will get you started but you need the velocity to be anywhere near accurate. www.jacksonrifles.com/files/pejsa%20ballistics.xls http://www.eskimo.com/~jbm/calculations/calculations.html
