I am looking for a laser distance meter that measures distance continuously, and preferably.
Spotted this one http://amzn.to/1jXPF5J if you know a suitable model, please let me know. What's the best and longest range Laser Distance Meter? Thanks in advance.

At that price a rough guess will probably be as accurate, a good laser of that type that will work outside will cost you around £300, ( you cant see the beam on that type using it outside) the only people I know that make that type for outside use is Hilti , and that only has a max range of 250 mtrs, but it is accurate to +\- 1mm , you would be better with a conventional look through range finder

I have the mtc, it's not to expensive fits in your pocket and is reasonably accurate

As stated on the advert it only measures up to 40m. If this is the distance you are looking to measure then, in my line of work (Chartered Surveyor) Leica are the industry standard. Have look here: http://www.leica-geosystems.co.uk/en/Laser-Distancemeter_5061.htm
