Its my demo for the actions i just twisted paddy arm to show off his skills sticking the barrel on ! I went 6.5 x 47 for no other reason that i think it is a good option for a short barrel based on a mate running one much shorter ! i had thought of gong 16'' but chickened out !!! walkabout Posted June 12, 2015 Report Share Posted June 12, 2015 I don't think it is Varget, you would need to put in about 41gn of Varget behind a 123gn lapua to get 3000fps with a 20" barrel. Quickload says that would be over 75.000psi!! 43gn of Reloader17 would give you nearly 3000psi but pressure is over 66,000psi according to quickload. Unless I'm missing something?
