Guest rogern Posted May 28, 2008 Report Share Posted May 28, 2008 Hi My mate has a Tikka M595 with the regular screw in sling swivels, last weekend the forend stud (woodscrew) pulled out of the woodwork and the rifle hit the floor. Do any of you guys know where I can get one of these for him please? Tried Google, just one shop "The Gunshop" lists them but they are out of stock. eldon Posted May 28, 2008 Report Share Posted May 28, 2008 Did a similar thing jumping over a dry stone wall with the rifle on my back. Whip the stock off. Set the screw back into a pool of araldite and its been an excellent repair. Make sure the orientations right before it goes off, I gave it about 10 degrees before true for tightening when set.
