DL.
Rem 700 Stainless with HS Precision Stock Something elegant about HS stocks Yeah it looks elegant, but I can't for the life of me understand why they would produce a stock with no comb, when I'm guessing that most shooters will mount optics of 50mm objective or so. Ronin
The owner has promised to keep me up to speed with load development. I used the same reamer and barrel on another 243 Remmy which I rebarelled a few years ago, that shoots really tight groups with factory ammo. I see no reason why this will not do the same. I dont do a great deal of 243's, though over years have made several 6mm BR's, so I've no idea what bullets will be used - I guess 85 - 100 grainers but have no idea of brand. The comb or lack of it, I take your point, but with low mounts and a 40mm scope a comb isn't needed. (which is what I think is going to be used) I think it looks "just right" for a semi custom anyway.
