baldie
Finished this rather nice one last week. I didn't barrel the gun, the customer had a friend in Scotland that did, its a Krieger fluted in .260. The gun then came down for stocking, Full bedding, a Magazine system fitting and paintwork. The bolt was fluted too. The rifle has a Bix n andy trigger which was very nice, but no lighter than one of my tuned units and felt spongy, which is unusual on a tikka. It was a lovely package when finished.

Big Al
Can I ask what is the most common black finish you use Dave and is that it?
baldie
The most common is Graphite black. This is Armour black with some modification.
Big Al
The most common is Graphite black. This is Armour black with some modification. How do they differ? Is there anywhere online I can see reasonably accurate colour chips?
baldie
www.nicindustries.com Graphite black is semi matt and very black. Armour black is blackboard black and rough, unless altered like this one.
