exmarksman9870 Posted January 7, 2015 Report Share Posted January 7, 2015 Thinking of replacing a walker trigger on one of my 700's...although i am very happy with the trigger on my .243 breaks about 1.5 lb like glass.... the .223 vssf that i am just starting to use is not the same and as its in an aics so i want a bit of a custom set up ..i know i can tune up the old walker trigger but i am thinking of getting a custom trigger...always something to buy :-) so anyone have any thoughts on what trigger...and best place to get from ...cheers .. You will probably find you are limited by what's available rather than what's best. Jewells' are always held as the epitome of great triggers, Timney are cheaper and available, Rifle Basix's are nice, Huber, Jard perhaps? Cost is not mentioned in your post? The Gun Pimp Posted January 7, 2015 Report Share Posted January 7, 2015 I think I mentioned on here before - when my benchrest trigger broke, I needed a quick replacement for my F Class rifle. Ended up with a Riflebasix for £100 plus - factory set at 5oz. What a great trigger. If you just want a good trigger for a Remmy, look no further - Hannam's Reloading are stockists. varmintexpress Posted January 13, 2015 Report Share Posted January 13, 2015 I had a rifle basix on my rem which was a nice upgrade from the xmark pro that came with it. however I have since replaced the rb with a jewel and I would not want to go back. very very happy with the jewel.
