brown dog
Just googling to see if tubb-type AR uppers existed that could be placed on conventional AR lowers. My searches threw up the fact that it seems that the US is awash with straight pull ARs: http://masterpiecearms.com/shop/mpa-mpar556-ba-bolt-action-sporting-rifle/ https://www.pof-usa.com/images/_PRODUCTS/Revolt_CMYK_SpecSheet.pdf http://www.gunsandammo.com/first-look/first-look-pof-usa-revolt-rifle/
Shuggy
Nice, but those are no different from all the UK designs of straight pulls. We could do with a proper tube gun supplier in the UK for all those 700s and T3s that are knocking around. I like the way that POF thinks that they can patent fluted chambers! gbal
Yes,Shuggy-or even bilateral K31 bolt handles....Revolt-ing? More seriously, much of this retro-engineering will relate to attempts to bypass "AR lower platform is semi auto compatible aka assault rifle configuration" and thus run foul of increasing multi state/fed restrictions? All seems a bit deja vu? It might even "trigger" a lever release design. gbal
