walkabout Posted November 16, 2014 Report Share Posted November 16, 2014 Just finished this Howa 1500 on Friday. The "client" got me to get a new one, then Cerakote it for woodland stalking. Base coat Sniper Green, then splashes of Graphite Black, Smiths Brown, Mil Spec Green and Foliage Green. It's really interesting on an over moulded Hogue stock the colours change slightly when view from different angles? Then I get a call on Saturday to say he now can't take it! Cumbrian 1 Posted December 5, 2014 Report Share Posted December 5, 2014 It certainly looks good I have a howa with the same stock that could do with a face lift, is the cerakote adhesive enough not to crack and fall off as the stock flexes?
