Offroad Gary
What barrel length and twist please.? Also, what upper/lower (if that's the right thing to ask!) Cheers
baldie
One is provisionally sold Gary. The other is just about to have its barrel changed as i tested it and it would,t group. It turned out that the barrel was a 1 in 14" and not a 1 in 8" as it was marked. Give me a buzz if you want some info. Barrels are usually 20" and 1 in 8". Lower is a double star and the upper is a thick walled DPMS.
Offroad Gary
Thanks Dave, been thinking of one for a while, plinking foxer. Might even try csr someday. Hope to cop a feel of something similar, when it turns up, might be in touch. Any idea of performance with 50gn bullet at that barrel length? Presume 40gn wont work well in 8 twist?? The stocks and forends are not going to be changed for anything different.
