One should opt for the superior .256 me thinks Vim and such venerable calibres of old :lol: I am sure it is not a recommended calibre in the St. Hubert's stalking manual either! I would not go as far as to suggest that 6mmBR is the optimum stalking calibre, but more and more see the light and for the British Isles size of game, the 6mmBR is 99% adequate.
