triggersqueezer
are they worth the extra ? nearly double the price of cci200 and some folks on the net think the 200's are better.after finding a good stash on the shelves today just wanted to know your experiences. mike

Laurie
Funny you should ask this Mike. Over the coming weeks I'll try around 10 makes of primer in 308 with a 168 + N140 combination, chronographing averages, ES and SD for 15-shot strings. That'll be Fiocchi, CCI-200, CCI-BR2, F210, F210M, PMC (Murom), Rem 91/2, CBC Magtech 9 1/2, WLR, S&B, and some ancient ICI Kynoch examples I was given a year or two back. I'll also try the various SR Magnums and BRs in Lapua Palma 308 brass. I've seen it said often enough that CCI-200 and BR2 are one and the same thing except the latter are chosen production lots, but I have an open mind on it. Certainly, I've used many thousands of 200s over the years and always been very satisfied with the results, although I usually choose the F210M for L-R match 308 Win if I'm not using the small primer Palma brass - just to be on the safe side! Tony.H
i always like the BR rem 7 1/2 primers, i used cci ones once and they blew so swapped for the rems using the same load and never looked back, they used to be a good price but now £40 a thousand.....
